Our curriculum is designed to challenge students academically through engaging activities that promote learning. This is achieved by engaging students in a variety of activities and assessments (including authentic assessments).

Discovery Virtual School is an accredited, quality educational program for students in grades K – 12. We are also an approved Alternative Learning Experience (ALE) program of the Clarkston School District.

Discovery Virtual is a tuition free alterative to traditional brick-and-mortar public schools. This option is available to you because of a Washington state funded program!
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Every student’s day is likely to differ based on their schedule, but here is what you can typically expect:
MORNING:
Thomas starts his day by logging into our program and checking his available lesson plans. He then begins his first lesson that involves several activates that carries him to noon.
AFTERNOON:
After eating lunch and playing outside for awhile Thomas is ready for his final lessons for the day where he learns about plants and how they help the environment.
AFTER SCHOOL:
Since Thomas is already home when completing his school work he is able to go to the park and play before the crowd comes and see the plants he learned about today!
